Rental conditions

General rules

Appreciation and respect work both ways. That’s why we would like to establish a few general rules for a carefree stay.

In holiday home Stay Charmed:

• We have fantastic, friendly neighbours. That’s why we are always mindful of them. We try to keep our decibel output within reasonable levels. Stay Charmed is a place of relaxation and peaceful enjoyment.
• Smoking is not allowed indoors.
• Only house-trained, well-behaved pets are allowed. If you bring a pet, there is a small surcharge of €25 per animal.
• The jacuzzi or hot tub is synonymous with unwinding. Enjoying the hot water and feeling the massage jets on your back. Enjoying life to the fullest. Of course, the jacuzzi should only be used for its intended purpose. Getting into the jacuzzi with your clothes or shoes on is a definite no-no.
• The barrel sauna is heated by means of a wood burner. It take about 25 minutes to heat the sauna and the heat transfer takes place via hot air. The shape of the barrel ensures that the air is heated much more quickly. This means that less heat is wasted, which is better for the environment.
• You do not need to clean when you leave. We only ask you to leave the holiday home tidy and give it a sweep, put the dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher up.
• The barbecue grill needs to be cleaned.
• Your data will be treated in accordance with the privacy regulations (GDPR).

Payment terms and security deposit

Upon reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with the request to pay a 50% deposit of the total price. The booking will only be valid and final once we have received this payment.

Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not find an email from us in your mailbox. One month before arrival, you will receive another email with the request to pay the remaining 50% of the booking price.

Together with this final payment, you will also be asked to provide a security deposit of €1,000. This security deposit will be transferred back into your account within one week after your stay, possibly after deduction of any damage, and of course always upon consultation with you.

Cancellation terms and conditions

Any cancellation, for whatever reason, needs to be communicated to us by email. Please send an email to the following address: veronique@staycharmed.be.

The renter may terminate the contract at any time, upon payment of a fixed compensation established as follows:

• Up to 6 weeks prior to arrival: 50% of the rental price
• Up to 4 weeks prior to arrival: 80% of the rental price
• Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival: 100% of the rental price

In case we can rent out the holiday home to someone else for the cancelled period and in the same formula, the total amount will be fully refunded upon deduction of an administrative fee and rebooking costs of €275.
